Built for the Way You Live
From building a brand-new custom pool to keeping the one you already have running its best, we’ve got you covered every step of the way.
Who We Are
A family business built on hard work, hands-on experience, and a love for the pool industry.
In 1992, Duke and Stacey Passmore founded Passmore Pool and Construction, building their business one pool and one customer at a time. Duke brought the hands-on construction and pool expertise, while Stacey helped build the business and supported the work behind the scenes. Together, they built more than pools—they built lasting relationships with families throughout the community.
For more than 30 years, the Passmore name became known for hard work, honest service, and knowing how to take care of a pool from the ground up.
And this is where Hali Passmore Proctor, Duke and Stacey’s daughter, comes into the story.
Having grown up around the business and learned from her dad, Hali has spent years watching, learning, and eventually working alongside him. Duke has always been not only her dad, but one of her best friends and biggest influences.
Today, Hali and her husband, Wessley, work side by side building the company together. From custom inground pools and renovations to repairs, equipment upgrades, and everyday pool service, they’re hands-on and involved in the work.
Hali was recently honored as a 5 Under 40 Emerging Leader in Gaston County, recognizing her work as a young business owner and her commitment to the local community and maintaining her family legacy.
She’s proud to be a woman in a traditionally male-dominated industry, proud of where she comes from, and even prouder of what she and Wessley are building together.
For us, Passmore Pools & Construction is truly a family affair. When we’re not working, we’re raising our two kids, Aspen and Duke, who have grown up around pools just like I did. They’re often around the office, job sites, or wherever we happen to be working.
Aspen has proudly taken on the role of our cute little supervisor, keeping an eye on everything and making sure we’re doing things right. And Duke? He’s making his namesake proud as our resident pool tester — because somebody has to make sure the pools are actually fun once we’re finished!
They’re a big part of why we love what we do and why building this business together means so much to us.
